Spiritual vs. Mundane
Benefits of Spiritual Healing
Spiritual healing is, by definition, the use of non-physical means to treat illness or affliction. Sometimes referred to as “faith healing,” spiritual healing is a type of treatment generally considered to be classified as “alternative” or non-traditional. Yet the roots of spiritual healing go back for centuries, and some form of this treatment have been shown to exist is almost every culture known to history.

Christian Online Dating
Are you a Christian? I can still recall the very first time some lady asked me that. I looked her straight in the eye and said, "No, I'm a democrat." Ha, okay, so maybe that's not such a good joke. Anyway, for some reason it always seems when we do encounter individuals, who are seriously pious, they come across as loopy. Is that just me? Regardless, the wonderful thing about religion and today is the technology. While it may have been difficult in the past to meet the mate of your dreams, the World-Wide-Web has greatly changed things. Ever heard of Christian online dating? Or how about Goth dating? Both concepts are totally viable. You can just hop on the web and discover either world. So, have you found your soul mate yet?

Christian Camps
My mother made me go to one of these Christian camps this year. Oh my God, can you say lame! First of all, I don't even believe in religion. It is just some junk that people tell each other to try to control how to think. I mean, who is stupid enough to believe that there is some invisible all powerful God watching over all of us just to make sure that we don't smoke cigarettes or stay out after curfew. But try telling my parents that. The more I do, the more they try to get me to go to church and to lame programs like Christian camps and Christian youth groups.

The Tibetan Book of the Dead
The book of the dead is actually a term that refers to two books. One of them is a Tibetan Book of the Dead, the other is an Egyptian one. Of the two, for some reason, the Egyptian one is far more popular among fans of world religions. I think it probably have to do that the Tibetan religion is still around, while the Egyptian religion has not been practiced for centuries. This makes it ancient and mysterious, and indeed there are many mysteries about the ancient Egyptians. There are things that we still do not know about the construction of their pyramids, or the way that they embalmed their dead. We do not know what lies beneath the earth under the Sphinx, as Egypt will not let scientists go under there no matter how many times that they ask. Given all of this mystery, it is no wonder that the Egyptian Book of the Dead is an object of so much fascination.

Meditation

Meditation has been growing in popularity in the West, and studies have shown that it has many benefits. These include stress reduction, which can lower the chance of high blood pressure, stroke and heart attack; providing a break in the day, thus refreshing the meditator who then has renewed energy and attention to put to whatever tasks may be at hand; interrupting a person's chronic patterns of thought, some of which are quite negative and not good for overall health and productivity; and bringing a person's attention more to the present day so that he or she can enjoy what's happening now more instead of being stuck worrying about past problems. These are just some of the benefits meditation can have.

Online Tarot

I love to have my fortune told. I am a fan of tarot cards and I think that part of this love for the fortune reading lies in the fact that I do not really put too much stock in them. I enjoy them because they are fun. I do not make decisions according to a psychic reading but I was pleased to discover that I could have a free online tarot reading.

Past Life

I’ve been having many episodes of deja vue. I keep feeling that I have experienced events that I’m currently feeling in the past. Some of the deja vue episodes last for up to a minute, which is an eternity for such an occurrence. One of my closest friends suggested that I look into finding out what person I was in a past life to see if there is some connection to the deja vue. I am not sure if there is a connection between a past life and deja vue, but I gave it a try.

Vanity
It's one of the oldest issues and sins of all time.  Vanity has afflicted the human race for as long as we know, or at least our documented history provides.  How can we as a society steer away from it?  We simply can't.  It's not in our nature.  As much as we try to preach the importance of content over appearance, it just never changes.  Vanity is a part of our society and lives, and there isn't any getting rid of it.
